Welcome to Mrs. Fraas' 3rd and 4th Grade Reading and Academic Intervention Website! 
The purpose of this site is to keep you informed on what students are currently working on, as well as to provide resources for both students and parents. Some basic information: Reading groups meet 3 days/week for 45 minutes. The skills that are focused on are derived from the Scott Foresman Reading program and the New York State standards. The students work on a variety of phonic, decoding and comprehension skills, as well as some writing. Academic Intervention Services (AIS) for Math meets 3 days/week for 45 minutes. The content is based on the Scott Foresman math program that the classrooms use, as well as the New York State standards. Math AIS is provided for the 1st half of the school year, and writing support will be provided for the second half.
