Mrs. Pyc/Miss Yates

My husband and I are excited to be expecting our second baby very shortly now.  I will be on maternity leave beginning on October 13th.  I will be returning February 1, 2010. Please welcome my substitute, Miss Yates.  Thank you for your support and I am confident that Miss Yates will do a fantastic job filling in for me!!

• keep track of homework assignments
• see units taught throughout 7th grade math
• see upcoming quizzes, tests and/or projects
• copy worksheets that were given for homework - if you can't print out the worksheet, you can always do the work on a separate sheet of paper
• explore helpful web-sites to assist with homework and studying
• see the informational packet handed out at Open House this year
• receive textbook assistance:  additonal exercises to use for studying, homework help
• NYS Math Assessment information

GRADES:

GRADES ARE POSTED IN MY CLASSROOM AND UPDATED AFTER ANY QUIZ OR TEST.  YOUR CHILD SHOULD KNOW HIS/HER GRADE AT ANY GIVEN TIME.  STUDENTS ARE GIVEN TIME AFTER EACH QUIZ/TEST ETC.  IS RETURNED, TO RECORD THEIR GRADES IN THEIR AGENDAS.  THEY ARE ALSO SUPPOSED TO KEEP TRACK OF THEIR DAILY HOMEWORK GRADE.  A SEPARATE SHEET OF PAPER WAS STAPLED INTO THEIR AGENDAS TO USE TO RECORD THEIR GRADES.
