Asbestos Management Plan
The Alden Central School District has had its facilities inspected under Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) guidelines to ensure a continued safe environment for our students and employees. AHERA is a federal law enacted in 1987 which requires all school districts to inspect their buildings for asbestos-containing building materials. Also, a six-month periodic surveillance is conducted in each building. The completed management plan is available for your inspection in the Buildings and Grounds Department office.
