    Programming Lessons
    Lesson Number Lesson Name Lesson Details / Additional Information
    1 Straight Move This lesson is under Basics in the EV3 Software.
    2 Curved Move This lesson is under Basics in the EV3 Software.
    3 Infinity Symbol For this lesson you will need to use the Steer Move Block to make your robot move in a figure 8/infinity symbol two times. (This is the challenge introduced during the 2 hour delay day, 12/14/2016)
    4 Tank Move This lesson is under Basics in the EV3 Software.
    5 Rectangle Path For this lesson you will need to use the Tank Move Block to make your robot move in a rectangular path. 
    6 Move Object You will need to add the medium motor arm to your robot to complete this lesson. Instructions can be found in your booklet. This lesson is under Basics in the EV3 Software.
    7 Stop at Object You will need to add the ultrasonic sensor to your robot to complete this lesson. Instructions can be found on page 42. This lesson is under Basics in the EV3 Software.
    8 Challenge #1 For this lesson your robot will need to do the following: 
    Move forward at power 50 until you are 5 inches away from the object. Brake Stop. Wait for 3 seconds. Reverse until 11 inches away from the object. Brake Stop. I would recommend using a ruler for this lesson.
    9 Stop at Line You will need to add the color sensor to your robot to complete this lesson. Instructions can be found on page 69. This lesson is under Basics in the EV3 Software.
    10 Loop This lesson is under Beyond Basics in the EV3 Software. This lesson has not challenge at the end. To complete this lesson you will need to explain what a loop does.
    11 Challenge #2 For this lesson you will be modifying the program you wrote for lesson 5, rectangle path, and add a loop to make it repeat twice, and two sounds.
    12 Touch the Wall For this lesson you will need to program your robot to stop moving and then reverse when it touches the wall. You will need to use the touch sensor to this. See robot 24 or 25 for how to attach the touch sensor and the "arm".
    13 Obstacle Course Good luck!
