CEIP/CO-OP - Final Project & Presentation Grading Rubric
- Use Glogster, Google, PowerPoint, Prezi or other pre-approved presentation format.
- Demonstrate comfortable with the chosen technology. [5]
- Print a copy with 3 or 4 slides per page and review with Mr. Turton before you present. Also share with aturton@aldenschools.org. [4]
- Include this Rubric (copy/paste) as your final slide. [1]
- Focus on YOUR WBL (CEIP or CO-OP) Experience.
- Discussed what you learned in your internship that you would not have learned in your high school courses? [5]
- Discuss highlights of the experience [10]
- Include project samples/photos/... evidence from your work site(s) to demonstrate how you learned and contributed. [5]
- Focus on YOUR Educational and Career Path.
- Mention college, military, or vocational training [5]
- Explain how you will achieve specific goals during the next 6 years. [10]
- Show evidence of your resume as a resource [3]
- Show evidence of career unit documents as a resource [2]
- Demonstrated best work and potential.
- Used 4 - 7 minutes to present. Minus point for each minute long or short. [5]
- Make appropriate for audience of future employer and CEIP advisory committee [5]
- Include sufficient detail for an employer or college program to make a decision about your potential in their organization. [5]
- Show evidence of practice and preparation. Examples include: yourself practicing your presentation in a video recording, detailed notes within the presentation software, note cards. [5]
- Arrange for a classmate to video record your presentation in a way that enables sharing with me. YouTube upload and link sharing is preferred. Other methods are OK. [4]
- Show your attention to detail by including an Alden Themed image/logo on your title slide. It means you read this. [1]
- Demonstrate comfort with content and show enthusiasm. [5]
- Use clear and concise FORMATTING.
- Create a Title slide with your name, date, work sites(s), mentor(s) [5]
- Follow a limit of a maximum of 6 bullets x 6 words each. [5]
- Ensure images are visible from normal viewing distance. [5]
- Choose appropriate colors, sizes and styles. [5]
