General Instructions for PowerPoint Lessons - NOT YET!
- Complete the following lessons from our "Microsoft Office 2010" textbook.
- As you modify and save files, add your last name at the beginning of the filename. This will ensure that I can identify your files later.
- Add you name in the footer of each presentation you edit and save.
- Save the files in your dropbox for now. You will be updating specific files to the ECC Angel Website later.
Getting Started ... Presentation PROJECT Ideas - DO THIS!
- Begin thinking about, and perhaps researching info for, a presentation about one of these topics (due by end of marking period) ...
- an issue that affects us all (whether we realize it or not) with the goal of opening our minds to consider your view.
- any topic on which you have a deeper knowledge than the majority of the class. Help us achieve a deeper understanding.
- a topic related to Information Technology (like a topic from our team IT presentations)
- You may use PowerPoint, Google Presentations, Prezi, SlideShare, vuvox, Slide Rocket to develop your presentation.
Presentation PROJECT Guidelines and Rubric
- Quantity of Slides [10]
- 9 slides, more or less costs 2 points
- if you choose a presentation that does not have traditional slides (ie. Prezi), focus more on using the alloted time
- Multimedia
- Embedded or linked video. Video should be 1 to 5 minutes and does not count in your presentation time. [5]

- 5 - 7 minutes from hello to thank you.
- minus 1 per minute over or under
- Interesting, and at a college level of quality. [10]
