    (Guidelines on tone and attitude)


    We will be spending a good amount of time emailing, blogging, journaling and online chatting/discussing with class members throughout the year.  It is important to keep these online etiquette suggestions in mind:


    1.  Think about your TONE

    2. Use clear, correct language

    3. avoid flaming (angry, screaming, using all caps)

    4.  avoid sarcasm

    5.  being tolerant


    Remember, we are using online tools in an academic setting.  Everyone should use supportive conversational tone throughout the course in order for all class members to achieve their academic goals.
