    Dear Students:

Welcome to my site! I am excited to a Math teacher at Alden High School! I started teaching here in 2004! I'd like to tell you a little about my family and myself. My husband is an assistant principal at Lancaster Middle School, and my daughters are Isabella (10 years old) and Gabrielle (8 years old), and I have a son named Sebastian (5 years old). We also adopted a black and white Havenese puppy in the summer of 2017, and named him Oreo.

As for my interests, I love music! I went to Fredionia State College originally for Music Education, and changed my major when I had no room in my schedule to take Calculus... What a geek, huh? I am also addicted to Project Runway, The Biggest Loser, Revenge Body and Teen Mom. I have also watched the all of the "Game of Thrones" on Showtime. It's so good that I want to start reading the series. Unfortunately, I can't sit still long enough to read a book for pleasure. Hence, why I also like to run. I plan to do the Toronto half-marathon this May. By the way, I run s...l...o...w...l...y... and I am am addict of fresh vegetables and milk chocolate:)

Our class will be different than your typical math class. We will use iPads, laptop computers, and manipulatives in class. You will have homework every night and it should take about 20 minutes. You can always come after school to my advisement, but I will be leaving right at 3:05 typically.

Keep in mind, I am your role model for this classroom. I will exhibit appropriate behavior and speech all of the time. I am also the one person responsible for the safety and well-being of each person in this classroom. Please be silent during all safety drills, and LISTEN! LISTEN! LISTEN!

Please come and talk to me if you need anything or have any questions. I look forward to a great year together!

    Sincerely,

    Mrs. Bindemann
