Hello Students & Families!

I am excited and eager to be working with you this year.  I began my teaching career in 2007, here at Alden Primary School.  Over the last 13 years, I have had the pleasure of working in a few districts around Western New York, but my path lead me right back to Alden.  

Alden is my own community and I take pride in being an active member in the Alden/Akron/Newstead communities.  I have lived in Alden for the last 19 years and grow more in love with this town as time passes.  I live here with my husband, Adam,  and our 4 children...Cade (10), Ayla (8), Eden (4), and Crew (1).

 I hold several teaching certificates in both elementary and special education, ranging from birth to grade 6.  I have taught all ages and grades within this range.  I have a true passion for teaching children using a multisensory approach within my instruction.  The children will be highly engaged in academics by manipulating many tools and strategies to build confidence while they learn.  I believe that it is my job to teach to the whole child.  We come to school to learn and grow in all facets of education:  academically, socially, emotionally and physically.
