PARENTS - PLEASE COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING:

Parents of students in grades 6-12 for the upcoming 2026-27 school year need to complete three tasks this Summer. We have already entered the Laptop Protection Plan fees in the PowerSchool Parent Portal.

1. UPDATE YOUR INFORMATION

Parents must access the PowerSchool Parent Portal on their home computer or the PowerSchool Mobile App to update their demographic information. Click on the Forms icon and select  Parent Demographic Update:

  • Student allergies & medical alerts

  • Doctor's contact information

  • Preferred hospital

  • Parent contacts

  • Emergency contacts

IMPORTANT: If nothing has changed on this screen, parents will still need to click SUBMIT (This way, the system knows you have reviewed it).
ONCE SUBMITTED, a staff member from Alden Schools will need to review that updated demographic information
The verification process will take place during regular school hours, Monday through Friday.

Click HERE to access the PowerSchool Parent Portal on your computer browser or mobile web browser.  You may also complete all tasks using the PowerSchool Mobile App.

2.  SIGN FORMS: Permissions and Agreements

Once the Demographic Change has been accepted, parents will also need to access the PowerSchool Parent Portal under FORMS to complete the following agreements and permissions:

  • Code of Conduct

  • Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

  • Office 365 Student Code of Conduct

  • Website & Publications Release

  • Laptop Protection Plan Agreement

Click HERE to access the PowerSchool Parent Portal.

3.  Pay for Laptop Protection Plan

The Alden Central School District is providing a protection plan for students and their families as part of the One to the World Program. Enrollment in the Protection Plan is optional. If students do not enroll, the device will remain at school, and the families will be held fully liable in the same manner as for other damaged or lost school property.

To access more information on the Laptop Protection Plan, click HERE.

Click HERE to access the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Once in the portal, click on the Balance icon. You can follow the prompts to pay via the online service RevTrak.  If you are using the PowerSchool Mobile App, select More and go to Forms.  You can click on the link "How to pay my fee balance?

We also ask that you settle outstanding balances from the previous year's laptop protection plan claims, lost textbooks, or athletic apparel.

MY SCHOOL BUCKS online payments will only be used for cafeteria accounts ONLY.

REVTRAK online payments will be used for laptop protection, lost textbooks, replacement athletic apparel, and other services.
