Due to an unanticipated pause in publication of the Alden Advertiser, ACS has secured the East Aurora Advertiser and Akron Bugle as additional official newspapers for the District and will be utilizing those papers to publicize news and events moving forward this year. For your convenience, each have offered to distribute newspapers at local businesses for purchase.

This summer, student ambassadors from the Alden Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition got together and created a PSA regarding the dangers and long-terms effects of vaping. Our student ambassadors played the positive roles in the PSA showing how long-term goals can be achieved with substance abstinence. Any student depicted vaping was a hired actor.
The message the students are trying to help the community see is a very important one. We know that vaping substances is a very dangerous trend among our youth. We do not know the long-term effects of vaping. What we do know is that it can change the future for our students, one where all of their goals could be out of reach.
Thank you to our student ambassadors for taking the time to create this PSA for their peers & their community.
Thank you for watching.
